Who We Are
STEPin-stepUP Inc works alongside the Indiana Department of Child Services to support families experiencing trauma. The agency provides evidence-based curriculum, community resources, and supervised parenting time to help families move toward reunification and stability.
Through families expressing in-home and out of home CHINS cases, our agency meets families where they are — offering practical support and a consistent presence during difficult transitions.

How We Work
Our case managers have morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend availability. Depending on the case status, our providers can serve clients in our facility or the community, aiming to complete services in the client's home and see the case through to completion.
The programs and curriculum our agency uses are evidence-based and designed to help clients and children interact successfully within the family structure, achieve DCS and team-mandated goals, engage in services, attain positive outcomes, strengthen the parent-child bond, or facilitate alternative family engagement.
Our providers are well trained and capable of assisting families with supervised parenting time, evidence-based curriculum, basic family needs, community supports, life skills, applications, or any identified needs or goals.

Training & Certification
STEPin-stepUP Inc offers community training programs designed to build safety knowledge and parenting skills.
- CPR, First Aid, AED, and Bloodborne Pathogen training with same-day two-year certification
- Safe sleep training, babysitter training, parent education classes, and car seat training
Classes are held at our Indianapolis facility — two minutes off I-465 — or on-site for groups. Course length is 3–5 hours.
